With more than 21 years of professional experience, Dr. Jörg Goschin became CEO and managing director of ALSTIN - Alternative Strategic Investment GmbH in August 2011. Dr. Goschin studied industrial engineering at Technical University of Darmstadt, where he also obtained his Ph.D. in finance. Prior to joining ALSTIN, Dr. Goschin was a partner and managing director at The Blackstone Group in London. From 2005 to 2009, Dr. Goschin was managing director at Cerberus Capital Management and worked on acquisitions in Cerberus´ Frankfurt and New York offices. Among other transactions, he led the acquisition of the Austrian bank BAWAG-PSK. Between 2002 and 2005, Dr. Goschin was managing director and member of the management board of BNP Paribas in Frankfurt, where he was responsible for the financial institutions sector. In 1999, Dr. Goschin co-founded firstfive, an independent rating institute for private wealth management, which he ran as CFO until 2002. From 1994 to 2000, Dr. Goschin worked as management consultant for The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
